12344 - that's nice - great way to start. Have played that thing dozens of times - maybe well into the hundreds - think the first time I heard it was by Ray Charles in the 50s. Yes - not a traditional "blues" in form or chord changes - minor blues chords for 16 bars and an 8 bar bridge - but it is for sure a blues rocking thing. Thanks for the memories. Well worth a repeat.
I knew there was a reason we get along, and it wasn't only 'cause you like dogs and Tacomas and were raised right. I've got the album on vinyl! That there is one of my all time favorite songs. Only wish more folks had listened to it and taken the hint. Thank you sir.
Picked up a cassette tape of this guy many years ago, in a discount rack, and loved his music ever since:

Yep....."Compared to what...God Damit".....one of my favorite songs ever!
Believe it or not...I have the LP too Geno.
I should have showed you my 60's era San Sui turn table and my 300+ collection of LP's while you were here.

Well FG, I wish I had a good stereo from back then. I have no idea what has good sound nowadays, everything seems geared toward "convenience" and the Wal-Mart crowd, not repairable, just replace it.
Not sure that the wife and I have 300, but I bet we're approaching half that in vinyl and maybe another 150 in cassettes before we get to the CD's.
