When I was a kid, my uncle had a 100 in 308. As a child, I liked the basket weave stock. To me it was cool. So I never thought about it not looking good. I've since owned 4 100's and the one I have now in 284 Win. is on the blink. I have now sold the 88 and was too late on the #1 Swede but it turned into a 700 Classic in the Swede. Thanks for all the comments.

I put the talleys, , leupold, and horseshair sling on er. Shoots 150 Winchester silver box about 3/4".... only load I've tried.... it's not for sale. Grin
