Wanting to know a little about these stocks. How do they compare to BC Alaskan Stocks? The specs show they are on the hefty size at 2.5 pounds for the outlander (the specific stock in looking at). How do they feel? Quality? Pillars installed? Any information would be appreciated. I'm gonna buy a new stock in then S t couple of months and was just weighing my options. Thanks

They are very good stocks. Dense, stable and worth the price if you ask me. Pillars are installed from the factory. The only downside to the outlander is the weight, which comes in at around 40oz. If you are building a lightweight rifle, they are not for you.

My Rem 700 AWR came from the factory equipped with a Grayboe. I like the package, lightweight it is not but then again not what I wanted in a 300 WM.

I have an AWR as well. I really like the fit & feel of it compared to the B&C offerings I’ve tried in the past. However, have some touch up paint handy if you smack the rifle on a rocky ledge. The base material is bright white.

I like mine better than any BC I’ve had; as long as you don’t mind the weight.

Just remembered I have one of these at home for Rem LA. I'll try to get some pics and weights posted. It has some weight to it but it's a superior stock than anything blowmolded or whatever BC does.. Stiff as heck and solid thru and thru.
