A Browning 1885 low wall in 22-250 or 260 would be pretty cool.

Or a 1895 Win in Krag, repro or not.

This one...Tikka Superlight in .223....the fourth .223 in the stable...so not really much of a necessity...

I did it a few weeks ago. I saw a 1936 Mexican Mauser with a fiddleback walnut sported stock and before I knew it, it was on the way to my dealer. I thought the barrel was likely toast but the rest looked really good. Always wanted one of those to play with.

404 Jeffery built on a pre-war Belgian 98 action, express sight with three leaves, rigby style sight and stocked English style with a nice piece of California English Walnut.

It’s not actually that far back- It just seems like because the front half of the scope can just barely reach past the end of the magnum length action that 223 comes with...

If that scope has any eye relief at all he must have his neck cranes backward to get a good cheek recoil pad weld.

I've always had a hankering for an old tang safety Mannlicher stocked 77 in 308 even though I have absolutely no use for one.

Something like this.

I have never had a Rimfire and have long been curious about them and thought I'd try one "Just for the hell of it".

I like "V's",so figured I'd order a Vudoo V-22 and because I couldn't get a Blued Factory barrel on it and like "B's",I opted for a Bartlein. Was worried about it being heavy,so asked for 18",figuring in 22LR it'll still go 2000fps. Thoughts?

Though I do not know what a contour is,I do like "S's" so went with a Specter,if only for Phil. They asked me about MOA's and I didn't know what that means, but ordered 30 of 'em,figuring I could sell any spares that got in the way. Wanted a Blued trigger, but could only find them in Stainless, but luckily it will be hid where it can't be seen. I don't like "O's" so only ordered 2 Ounces.

Was hoping to nab a Spruce stock(light/strong),but because I like "M's" I ordered one of them there MacaMillion's in Anti-Kneel coloration, which is an Old Glory fade in a Medium Weight, because I like "M's" as mentioned prior. Have never had a scope before, but because scope starts with "S" and I like "S's" anyhow,I ordered one of them there S/S's the Texans like to brag up. Never did like "X's" so only got (10) of them. I'm not sure what the rings are,but they've got alotta screws in 'em and I like "S's",plus they take shingles in the middle.

I hope to have a gun that will shoot 1" or so at 25yds,because that sounds like fun to me.

Good talk,I am learning a bunch.

Thank you.

Lately I'm close to the decision that I own most of my rifles "just for the hell of it".
It's not like I hunt with them or even shoot a lot of them but they are here.
I have rifles I haven't fired in 5 years and more and others that I've had built 5 years ago and have never hunted.
They must be here "just for the hell of it".

Nothing very exotic but was cruising GB a couple of years ago and saw a M70 FWT in 270 made in SC. A cheap Jack O'Connor tribute! It has become my go to hunting rifle.

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.

Martini Henry converted to 303 British. Or even in 577/450, though the ammo and loading stuff is a bit pricey.

I've always loved post-war Mauser sporters.

I did a 450 Marlin on a Rem 7 action with a 20" barrel from Pac-nor with the funky, laminated 673 stock. Shoots 300 grain Barnes at 2450 fps into 3 shot .75" groups at 100. This gun is a riot! Its my new dark timber and bugle season elk rifle.

For years I’ve had a craving for a rifle of absolutely no practical value for me, and it’s a decent quality side lock double with claw mounts and a pop up tang sight and ivory front bead that pops up. It will be chambered in .30-40 Krag, .303 Brit or 7x57R. It will be regulated at 100 yards with an appropriately heavy for caliber RN. Like I said, not practical, but for some reason I want it.
