Let's suspend disbelief and say the creature known as Bigfoot, Sasquatch, etc. is real. You're walking along hunting Whitetails or whatnot and happen to have a rifle capable of putting him down. Bigfoot is likewise, just strolling along, not threatening you or anything you hold dear. Visions of millions of dollars flash through your head, as do visions of yourself cooling your heels in the local calabozo or even the Federal slam. I mean, who knows nowadays? What do you do? Do you part Squatch's hair with your '06 or bid him a good day and carry on with the deer hunt?

Self defense, yes. To just bust a cap on something, no. That's pretty much how I see it too. But, I'll cross that road IF I ever get to it.....and I sure ain't holding my breath.

Only if I was carrying a .243 AI. If it was a standard .243, I wouldn't even attempt it.

He was killed by the "second shooter" in either Las Vagas or Dallas....

I'd try to talk to him. Explain that it's not his fault he has to live in the woods, he's disadvantaged and its society's fault.
Then he'd live happily ever after.
And PS I'd never shoot an innocent deer either.

Test of all test's. Who's tougher me or bigfoot? Heck yeah, I'd drop my rifle walk over there and kick his arse with my fists! Oh, I'm sure he'd get in a lick or two but I think I could whoop him.
Would you like to just keep explaining the problem or do you want the solution?

My boys (7,3 and 2) are convinced every time we go into the woods that we are looking for Bigfoot. The middle one now usually carries a length of rope with which to lasso and tie him. Fortunately for Bigfoot the boys seem more interested in live capture methods.

^^^THIS^^^ Then if he threatened me, yes. Otherwise he'd walk, especially if I was in a tree stand.
