Anybody ever used Loctite on their Leupold Aluminas? I installed mine correctly but they don't seem very secure and they don't tighten up snug. Given the value, I was just curious if anyone had used Loctite on them, or if there was some obvious reason I've overlooked, that this is a bad idea.

Absolutely not necessary to use loctite. i do find that many do not understand how to properly install/align/tighten the aluminas.

I'm pretty sure mine are installed correctly. I read the directions, then put them on. I later watched a YouTube video and confirmed that they were correct. After having them on for a couple months, I found that I needed to tighten them up about a quarter turn occasionally. I thought a drop or two of purple loctite (low strength) would be just the thing. I really don't see a down side, but I appreciate the feedback.

Mine have never come loose. No loctite.

You probably don't have them tightened correctly to start with.
