First time I've been quail hunting in about 12-14 years. There are a couple coveys (Gambels) that hang around our pecan orchard,but I consider them my pets.

Well, it's not a dink. I was posting this in hopes of becoming the biggest loser, but I think Dan, 1Nut, and Ringworm have me beat. OK, I've got a true contender. This one won't take more than a case of Blantons. It's doe's (Antlerless) only right now for muzzle loader. Got it this morning. Shoulda passed on that one and waited for a 40 pounder. OR... on second thought, fuggit-- shoot that one and drink the bribes. If something small doesn't walk by soon I may remove another bottle of Blanton's from the case under the bar. The case with Ingwe's address on it.

Had 2 dinks following an 8 point yesterday, but they were way too big so I let them walk. One of them had 6" spikes and the other one had 2" spikes. Definitely not shooters.
Oh yea, I let the 8 point walk too, it was just a small basket. I saw my 10 point last night and again this morning. Couldn't get a shot either time, maybe he'll screw up tonight and give me something I can work with. I'm not a stunt shooter like ingwe.
