Barely used Smith and Wesson Model 63 22LR revolver. Not sure if its the original grips or not. Gun was my fathers. I would let it go for 500/shipped to your FFL

Grips are definitely not original factory issued product.'

Those are very nice old revolvers.

As far as I can tell those are in fact the factory grips. This is the 8 shot 5" model, S&W only made that for I think three or four years around 2005-2008 then they went to a 3" barrel. This is a great deal for a very nice gun in the factory box.

What is that on the frame around and above the cylinder latch? It looks sort of mottled but I'm thinking it could be just dust.

I believe Jim is right. That's a 5" model, with the lock, and the Butler Creek grips which are no longer acceptable. I like those grips.

Yours would be the mid-size K frame Model 617, this is the smaller J frame Model 63.

The Lett Grips that Ruger uses don't say Lett on them either. They are nice grips and original. Apparently I didn't make myself clear. Didn't intend to demean them in any way.

Awfully nice kit gun. Great for all kinds of uses.

I have one of the old stainless six-shots that someone slicked up so its action feels like butter. It would be about the last pistol I would ever let go!
