Does anyone know the actual measurements of the Remington KS barrel contour? I know this has been discussed before and guys have said Lilja has it. Their descriptions under the factory contours is not very well written to say the least. I called Lilja last week and they weren't familiar with the KS contour and I didn't really get anywhere after talking to the guy that programs the contours. He was willing to do it but was looking to duplicate an actual barrel which I don't have and I didn't have any measurements other than it finishing .60 at the muzzle at 24". Has anyone actually ordered one from them and what one is it listed under in the Factory contour page? I may just go with a PacNor #1 contour which appears close to what I want.

And no, don't go with the #1 contour, when you can have the KS instead. It is truly that much nicer.

I'll try and find my old post but I put the specs of the KS barrel in it a couple years ago maybe?? I'd be happy to remeasure my KS .280 but it will be next week, just headed out to the to go elk hunting.

Steelhead had a 6x45 with a Douglas KS contour that IT&D assembled for him. Not sure if IT&D contoured the barrel for him, but I suspect they did since they do that regularly. You might contact him to check.
