I was rewiring my parents old Cleavland kleen kut meat grinder and it lost some oil when it was tipped over. Cant tell what it is.
What should a person refill in this old #22 beast?
Gear? drain and try ATF
The grinder is pretty old and may be from the 40-to 50's era
Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

You need to use an oil that is intended for food service, I would Google butcher/meat cutting supply sources to purchase. Hobart (manufacturer of meat grinders) lists a #915217 Food Grade Machine Oil 4oz. for $15.49.

Local butcher will have the contact for food grinders, they can hook you up with the right stuff.
