Kids had left over meat balls, wife had left over gumbo and I had a fancy chicken bacon wrap deal I bought from town.

We ate dinner in the big town to the west today. I ordered nachos and this wrap thing.

Everything was huge.....brought the wrap home and ate it for supper.

I am going to try that cabbage Charlie.

Pretty simple tonight.

Went to the big grocery store over west today with a friend so he could pick up a prime rib.

They had a cheap pork roast that had been duded up with prime rib seasoning.

That, plus some green beans and some left over Calico beans was supper.

I pulled some Red Beans with Andoulie and Okra out of the freezer.
I'll make some rice to go with em.
This is the second half of the batch I experimented with Okra in it. It was my best batch to date.
Can't wait until dinner time rolls around.

Soft-shell tacos - lettuce, tomatoes with chilis, black olives, shredded cheese, sour cream, seasoned burger, re"fired" beans, some chips. I am sure that the "unauthenticity" of the whole deal would be offensive to my betters, but it sure tasted good.

The left over prime roast from last night. We had a gift certificate to burn before the place closes.

Chunk of deer backstrap in the toaster over at work. (We're not allowed to have a real over per the boss...) 20 min at highest setting (450???), then 25 more at 200. Came out awesome. Just seasoned up with salt, pepper, little Paprika (it's what we had in the cupboard). Nuked some instant rice with butter and hot sauce in it.
