With millions of gimics out there and more to come .... What 1 item would you own if yyou didn't have to pay for it? HECS? OZONICS? For me, I'd like one of those camo electrical bikes with the cart.

That's easy, one of those 8-wheel ATV thingys like Shockey drives. Have absolutely no use for one, but love 'em.
After all the crap I bought this year, I'd have to wait for a clearance sale to afford a Butt-Out.
What fresh Hell is this?

A cough silencer. Got one in a box of shooting stuff at auction.
Dam, didn't want it, but I guess I bought it.

I'd like 4500 acres of river bottom with a nice stand of swamp chestnut oaks. I would have asked for 5000 acres but didn't want to seem greedy.

I'd like a mesh of these cameras all over the place so I could sit back at camp and enjoy the eye candy.

It might not be a gimmick by your standards, but I've found out nothing works better than hunting where deer are. I hunted for years on an 800 acre tract of land that basically had no deer. That wasn't fun but was the only option I had. So I hunted it. We might have seen one or two deer a season. Friends were seeing 5 to ten deer a day on their property. I felt like they had a gimmick, property with deer. I posted that with tongue in cheek, but I do realize how important it is to have a place with deer to hunt.

Been there, done that. I had a spot for 6 years on an old dairy farm. The deer were thick until Labor Day and then they took off for parts unknown. The owner was a gun hunter. In those days, I was mostly into bow. I'd get to hunt all of October and until mid-November-- nada. He'd fly in his buddies for deer camp for a week-- 8 guys, 100 acres, 2 days would produce 2 deer. This was in what is now a Zone 1 county in KY-- unlimited antlerless deer.
There was a gimmick there. After 7 years, the owner found out one of the locals was poaching it late summer with the object of driving him off the property. It worked. The owner put it up for sale and it's now a subdivision.
If you wanted to see gimmicks, you should have seen me and those guys at that farm. The owner did everything to entice deer on the property. He was a successful corporate executive and had a lot of money to throw at it. Yikes! That was as I was nearing my peak of gimmickry as well.

A doe-in-slut decoy...... My nephew has killed a lot of bucks with one of those doe decoys. With his bow none the less.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

What you wrote about read like the real deal, so not gimmicky in the "oh that's just some gimmick" sense. I'd love to have the arrangement you described.

A Bad Boy Buggy. I wouldn't use it for hunting but if it was free I'd use one for driving around the campground in the summer.
I can walk on water.......................but I do stagger a bit on alcohol.
