I just bought a G2 Contender which I'm going to turn into a suppressed, subsonic hog gun. Not 100% on caliber yet. I've got an Eotech XPS-3 that I was going to use. Given that most the shots would be 50 yards.....75 tops.....I think the sight will work.
Anyone run something similar?
Murphy was a grunt.

Curious, what calibers are you considering?

Not my first choice (too oogly), but should work just fine and since you have it, it's "free".
I had a Vortex Sparc II (also pretty oogly) on a .270 Mauser for a bit, and was surprised how well I could shoot with it.
Can't hurt to try it, though I still prefer a low-power scope in most cases.
What fresh Hell is this?

No holo, but did run a 30mm red dot.............think on a pig or deer rig it'd be great. Holo...........proly as good, maybe better. EER scope..............nope.
