Same thing here Dan , Deer are only moveing after dark! last 8 hunts Iv not seen a deer, last day today for rifle than 12 days of Muzzleloader. they used to have a later Muzzleloader season, and it worked better our deer and been hunted now for 2 months, may get out in a few days with the muzzleloader. wishing you Happy hunting!

Any sign of your drop tine on the cameras recently Dan? No,but had not been getting many pictures of buck at all.yesterday afternoon I passed on a 2 1/2 yr old 8 pt

I had pictures of 7 or 8 different buck from last night bucks fighting too...its coming

Have you seen Mathews new Triax? No and I don't want to,I have had the Halon 2 yrs not ready to change I didn't even want the Halon I was happy with my Helium and had to go and test shoot the Halon

Lol. I hear that.
I still have a totally blacked out Z7 and it keeps on killing critters so I won’t change for a while yet either but just by the looks of the Triax wow!
One thing that I wouldn’t like is the 6” brace height.

One thing that I wouldn’t like is the 6” brace height. 10/4 I have the Halon 7 saw 4 doe and another doe being chased by a 4 pt yesterday afternoon have hunted 20 straight days....3 days left in gun season then 9 day MZ loader I'm sick as a dog right now think maybe bronchitis but I'm not letting that stop me

Dan you are tough as nails!!....Helium is my favorite...Thankfully I kept mine and had it rebuilt with all new cables etc....When I " Talked myself into purchasing the Hoyt Carbon Defiant last year". I love the balance of that Mathews bow and I killed two popes with it .

Dan, I feel your pain with the nocturnal buck. I put a 1/4 acre of soybeans in front of my house this year in the old horse pasture. Last night @ 9pm when I let the dog out, this guy is standing 25 yds from the front door munching beans.
