Anybody tried these? I like the specs, and Danner's website says they come in EE.

Not likely. I’ve learned to send them back quicker (thanks, Meindl). Also figured the Danner above would be more popular with arid-country folk.

Pay the extra $100. and get the Danners that they make in the USA. I love my Danner Grouse boots, but I have not read much good about the stuff that they get made overseas.
My other auto is a .45

Have used Danner American line for well over 20yrs now, very rough use in Alaska. Never had a problem and have had them rebuilt at factory, came back looking brand new!

I have the Canadians and absolutely love them, great for hunts where I walk all day in the single digits. I have yet to find any meindls that properly fit me....
