I have a BPS I cannot enjoy shooting as I extremely dislike the tang safety. Can it be modified by installing a new trigger group with a cross bolt safety?

By the way, in case you missed it, Jeremiah was a bullfrog.

Wow! Most, myself included, hate trigger guard safeties and love the tang...

Never thought to look for a replacement.

Find an Ithaca 37.
Or, an 870.
You conversion could most likely be done, heck some one could make you a new
receiver. But it's going to be either cobbled up mess, or a lot of money, maybe both.
Different safeties don't bother me, except the bass awkward ones. But I agree with you,
crossbones are familiar to me.
