Anyone have a custom built on a rock island? I have an itch for a 38 super.

RIA's are a good starting place. Just remember you need to start with a Super or 9mm to have the proper feed ramp cut.

I bought a 10mm ria and it failed at the lugs. I asked if they would sell me the parts to rebuild it and was told no way, but they would fix it. RIA in house smiths fit all new components to my frame and the work was very good, as good or better than id do myself. that pistol came with a test target that had a .75" hole in it and I have proved it as well.
The potential is there!
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

From what I have read, good luck with an RIA, is buying one and having a problem. Their warranty shop goes over each gun that comes in and properly fits everything.
