I have a savage 1899 SRC chambered in 303savage that I would like to sell locally. The gun is in about 80% condition. Can anyone give me their opinion on a value. Thanks

Where is local? I might drive over to look at it. An SRC is on a lot of folks wish list, Joe.

As the others have said, need to see a few pictures to give a value estimate and would be nice to know about where you are located. This is a rifle that is definitely on several lists of "wants"!

Last night I sent pics to a savage guy in Wisconsin. I’ll post what his opinion is of the value. Also have a clip fed 243 model 99 I’m going to part with.

On my iPad I can't tell if the receiver is just dirty, or reblued. Anybody?

Just pry the ring and staple off of it with a pair of pliers and send it to me. I'll make my own SRC.

Rory, that later Savage 1915- 25 high gloss blueing was very durable. Also, the rifle is photographed against a near white background.

Made that mistake before when buying a couple of rifles. I'd venture original blueing compared against my 1919 SRC:

1100 shipped if anyone’s interested. More pics upon request, just send email or phone. The stock has the tang crack. Bore looks good.

I had asked for additional pics via email. Haven't seen them. ???
