All:
This question is for those who want to do something constructive for themselves or others.
Mine are:
1. To abstain from drinking any type of alcohol for the entire year. My friend struggles with it so I am going to support him by jumping on the wagon with him.
2. To become a volunteer driver for veterans needing a ride to their medical appointments. My county has a program to do this. I drive the county van for those qualified veterans who are unable to make their medical appointment on their own. I am pretty sure most counties do this if you want to join me.

I'm gonna do somethin' easy.
"No fat girls",....which is easy enough since I've got so old and ugly even the fat girls don't want nuthin' ta do with me.
I think I'll also resolve to sleep 10 hours a day until the weather warms up.
No fat girls,...sleep a lot until spring.
I've found that the best new years resolutions are those that don't carry a lot of stress.

They happen every Saturday mornin',....and last until about Tuesday,......sometimes.

Stop my hoarding ways and get rid of 75% of the crap i don't need/use in my garage. Finish it (tape, mud, texture, paint) concrete camo the floor. Put in freezer, vac packet, and sink.

RAS: Please reconsider your #1 resolution - I am not much of a drinker at all and I RARELY imbibe of any hard liquor but do love an icey cold beer or two after a long summer days Varmint Hunting or fly fishing!
I simply can NOT imagine giving up beer.
Anyway my New Years resolutions are pretty self centered (unlike your very commendable volunteering for Veteran transport - I've done some of that myself on a personal friends basis).
My resolutions:
#1 = Shoot more!
#2 = Hunt more!
#3 = Buy more guns!
#4 = Fish more!
#5 = Visit VarmintKids and VarmintGrandkids more.
#6 = Anger and disassociate myself from every known or encountered demonrat liberal that I come across!
Wishing everyone here a Happy and Prosperous New Year (unless you're a demonrat then FOAD!).
