Born in 1949 I believe I have seen the climate change, could the atmospheric nuclear testing that was going on back then have had an effect on global temps and weather conditions.

I dont think that bicycle pic was taken in 49. Nor were some of the others. Look at the lock on the bike! nobody locked a bike to a sign post back then, and they sure as hell didn't have kryptonite locks to do it with.

Nevertheless, average temperatures are rising even though daily temperatures vary. We know that glaciers are melting and sea levels are rising. such melting can only be caused by rising temperatures. Why they are rising is debatable, is it climate change, global warming or natural fluctuations? You do like to swallow thst lieberal BS. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/...evels-is-the-greatest-lie-ever-told.htmlhttps://skepticalscience.com/sea-level-rise.htm

Just watched the local news, out of Nashville, and the weatherman gave the daily highs and lows. Seems the record high for the day was 75.......back in 1949. Guess that means that global warming was taking place then. Al Gore was in diapers back in 1949. Yeah, but the socialists were already busy weaving their lies.
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

Almost everything you watch on tv any more will have certain buzz words: carbon footprint, greenhouse gases, etc. They have the public totally convinced that anything that puts CO2 in the atmosphere is a bad thing.

No schit....I was talking to a fellow that is worried that if we start burning less hydrocarbons we might make the world too cool.
He really believes that we have that kind of effect on the environment.

Daily temperatures are immaterial to the long-term acerage

Before I was born - 1949. I saw on memtb's post, the map showed the blizzard dipping into New Mexico enough to catch the town I was born in, and Dad's ranch. The town is sort of protected - where the ranch is exposed - it sits on a mesa SE of Raton Pass - just a few miles. As the corrals sit at 8100 feet altitude, and there are almost no trees - blizzard takes on a whole new meaning. Just south of the corral, a windmill sits in a deep draw - I once saw the snow up to the center of the wheel. 27' tower, IIRC.
