Every now and then, Ruger and Remington do a run of 7x64s for foreign markets (Europe, mostly) and if those rifles don't sell well, some end up here. Doesn't happen very often, but it does happen. I suppose Browning has also done some runs for the European markets. I'm told the round is very popular in France, for example, but I'd guess they might sell in all of Europe.
