Godspeed Mr. Selby. After reading [uHorn of the Hunter][/u] it was impossible for me to imagine African hunting without Harry Selby being involved.

We lost Dan Gurney and Harry Selby in the same week. Both sportsmen of the old school and while in different fields, they both left an enduring legacy that will not be forgotten.

Sad to read this. That book, amongst others drew me to Africa. Me as well. So sad to see his era ending. Just watched a short little thing on YouTube a few minutes ago, made by his daughter a couple of years ago for his 90th I think. Oh what a life he had! I will give a toast to him this evening as I sit and contemplate how to get back to Africa sooner rather that later. Rest In Peace Mr Selby.
Its not always easy to do the right thing, But it is always the right thing to do.
