A buddy and I arrived here in my north Idaho home to enjoy the winter for a couple of weeks last week. It would be his first winter here though he has been building down the road for 8 years. We arrived to maybe two feet down and short of a few inches a day after arrival it has been ten to fifteen degrees above the norm with a bit of rain. It looks like spring breakup here. Supposed to maybe get a few inches on Friday but surprisingly mild.

That last picture looks more like western Montana than north Idaho although, we all know, that part of Montana would be Idaho if not for the surveyors getting lost. GD
