Yup, at modest 10mm speeds, wonder how much difference there is in penetration between 15 and 22 BH, I realize momentum and sheer weight etc, but, I cast my Sharps rifle bullets to 15 BH, just put a 50 cal. 750 gr flat nosed grease groove bullet with a 330" meplat through nine feet of Eland Bull in Africa, the bullet left my 50-90 Sharps over 110 gr OE FFG blackpowder at 1365 fps and struck the bull 60 yards away in the right ham, skinners found the bullet in the bulls left shoulder, DRT!
I was REALLY surprised that alloy made it that far, bullet still weighs 743 grains and expanded to 778"
