Improved Albright knot works well for me when joining braid to mono. Easy to tie too.

I agree on the improved Albright is a better mono to braid knot but not easier to tie with the smaller diameter lines at least with MY FINGERS. I find the Berkley "Uni-knot" much easier to tie

I am also a big fan of the FG knot. Strong, casts and reels through the guides like a dream.

Will a FG knot still work , even if the mono is only 6 or 8 # test?


Some spelling errors can be corrected by a vowel movement.
