My dad was in the same business, and was a particular good friend of Rev. Graham. I was around him often. A truly great man. You play anything from your Linda Ronstadt collection for him?

Well done. A man who well understood the grave danger posed by Jewish control over MSM (as he expressed to Richard Nixon on tape), yet didn’t dare to use his powerful platform to expose it, for fear of the Jews.

He was fine man,who served his Lord with integrity his whole life. He was also kind to those who had fallen in their mistakes. Sounds a lot like Jesus to me. I can give the man no higher compliment.

He didn't get cheated. He can claim a life well lived. He never had to wonder aloud if he made a difference.
To the best of my knowledge, he never was corrupted by his fame, as so man others have been. Well said Jeff. I have to believe there's a special place in heaven for him. May he RIP.

In matters of Faith and walking the talk, he and the Polish Pope rank tops in my view. RIP

MLK could have benefited from the example of Billy Graham. We need another face at Mount Rushmore. They were friends. Martin Luther King was a man of vision. I remember traveling with him to South America. We spent about a week together and I remember the talks we had together. … But I remember when he got his Nobel Peace Prize someone asked him, Where did he get the motivation to become the great reformer and the great leader that he was? And he said from the evangelical preaching of [his] father. In other words he got it from the Gospel, from the Bible. And we forget a great deal of that.” – Governors Prayer Breakfast, Atlanta, 1987

Powerful man of the word of the Lord.
I remember as kid my Grandfather, who was a Deacon in the Catholic Church, would watch him on TV. When I got older I asked him why a devout Catholic would listen and watch a bible thumper, as we called evangelicals as kids in school, he told me that the Reverend Graham was a man of the Lord and God had chosen him to speak for the Lord irregardless of Graham’s chosen path in this life. Another great lesson I learned from him. So you could say the Reverend Graham taught me a lesson that day as well through my Grandfather an extremely devout Catholic Christian his whole life.

The Protestant Pope left a successor in the person of his son, Franklin.

Heaven rejoices! Well done, good and faithful servant; enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Amen. I always liked Billy's call to come to Jesus just as you are while the hymn "Just As I Am" played as people came forward.

I only have one requirement for religious figures... That they practice what they preach.
Many of those televangelists didn't. Money, sex, drugs, power... most all were corrupted.
Billy Graham wasn't. That, I respected him for.

Billy Graham was truly a great American......but most of all, a good Christian man. That's what counts the most.
