OP peaceman Campfire Regular P Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 891 The last frontier	My 10 year old son drew a cow bison tag so thinking about the options for him. Centerfire is certainly an option but haven't ruled out a youth muzzleloader. Anyone have any experience with the few offerings out there? I know Traditions and Knight offer a youth model with a shorter LOP. Minimum requirement is a 300gr conical bullet in anything smaller than a .54.

This one above is the best offering I know of. Considering your Traditions and Knight mention, I'm presuming you want an inline. Next in size would be the CVA Wolf.
