Did upper body cardio with the arm bike and ski erg. Followed by a few leg machines. Three more weeks until castoff.

Yesterday was burpee's into power cleans and stair climbs with my trusty sandbag. Good and tired after that. Last night we received a fresh load of free exercise. Today I got in a good hour and a half of snow shoveling.
MT. Warden that 8 miles of post holing through the snow sounds like some solid training!

4.5 miles with my wife and Tiny E; we had a pretty big wind event last night, so several portions of the trails were blown in- wife didn’t wear gaiters- whoops! warmutt- my legs are hammered!

Did road work today about a mile and a quarter on the scooter. We have a park with nice wide sidewalks. Sang the whole way so my blind dog could follow. Women were swooning at the sound of my crooning.

Yesterday, six miles of post holing. Today 5 miles of snowshoeing. At least some blue skies and sunshine today along with the wind.

Walked the dogs about 45 minutes this morning through the deep snow. After their post walk biscuit they don't seem too interested in much other than sleep. No work today so I'm just resting, getting ready to go to the grocery store for some grub. This afternoon I'll hammer out some clean and presses, and some dead lifts.
What do some of you guys do for your diets? The way some of you guys hammer it I'd think ya'll would need to eat a sheep a day or be starving! Myself I try hard to eat a heck of a lot of vegetables and proteins. My work lunches are typically a stir fry, without much added other than meat and vegetables. I make a lot of scrambled egg dishes, again loaded with vegetables. I limit myself on bread and other carbohydrate rich foods. I never ever allow myself to tie into the boundless amounts of empty calorie food that is always piled up on the counter at work. It may sound condescending and arrogant, but watching my co-workers gorge on cookies and crap motivates me to easily shun that junk.

I eat a lot- combo of high metabolism and cranking out a lot of miles. I eat little to no sweets, little to no crap snacks, little to no refined/processed stuff (instead brown rice, whole wheat pasta, quinoa, beans, etc), lots of lean meats, lots of fruits/veggies, dairy and eggs and IPA I’ll eat stuff like pizza and cheese burgers/fries guilt free, don’t eat it a lot, but enjoy it when I do.

I eat mostly paleo/Primal with occasional strict stints of Keto. When eating Keto, I have amazing energy with no craving. I did one peak bagging trip last fall that was 15 miles, 3500’ of gain. Breakfast was coffee with heavy cream. I ate two squares of cheese and a few walnuts about 2:00 PM and had plenty of energy the entire day.

Laps in the pool both Sat and Sun along with lots of grading the yard via wheel barrow and shovel. Today was 1.5 mile run, had to buy some new sneaks as shin splints were beginning to set in. Enjoy my runs but hate shin splints. Wife talked me into stopping at the new IKEA store, what a maze. They did have some pretty good salmon for a 5.99 meal.

Wendler week 10: squats 3/3/3+, bench 3/3/3+, pull-ups 3x12, dips 3x30, core
I was worried on my squats after Saturday’s sufferfest, but it actually went pretty well, my bench on the other hand..,,.

Today, 35 minutes on the arm bike and a few leg machines. Caught 3 women videoing me with their cell phones, I feel so cheap.

Smoke told me if I wanted strong glutes I had to eat a lot of gluten. After 6 months my glutes are still only average, but I’m sure it will work. We all know Smoke doesn’t BS when it comes to the gym. I feel so fortunate that he shares his strength tips with me.

You got it all wrong Harry, I said "when you go to the Golden Corral for the senior buffet, don't be a glutton."
Now, when you're ready to move onto the quads, let me know. You'll need oversized headphones, and some old "Who" albums. I call it the "Quadrophenia Workout."

Good work guys! I have discovered the antidote to my weight-loss concern a few months ago. Been chasing a big (business) fish and it's kinda consumed me. Got out of my workout rhythms. Ugh. Gotta get revved back up. I've at least been doing some late night stretching and light core work.
