Howdy. I just acquired my 1st Win model 70 Fwt. I'm thinking about some Talley Lightweight rings but not sure of the best ring height. I have a Leupold Vari XII that will sit on top for now. Low or medium?
Thanks for your help.

I have always used medium height rings with Vari-XII 2-7x on my pre'64 FWT's.

Lows for every scope up to about 42mm - maybe 44mm.
