Talley LW milled to fit the Tikka. Contact Whittaker Guns.com.

I like to mount straight to the Tikka dovetail, so I've been using the Warne's. Great stuff and fewer parts.

Talleys or the DNZ rings/mounts that look like a beefed up version of Talleys, have them on both my Superlites and really like the overall height/weight of them.

Not directly for Tikka, but I used Talley's on one Savage an DNZ on others. Based on what I saw and experienced, I'd choose DNZ 1 piece over Talley's every time. They feel more solid and from my experience were machined better. They left ZERO ring marks. Can't say the same for the Talley's. I realize other factor go in to that, but I also love how much thread engagement you get with the DNZ screws as well.

They are a little pricey since they come from EU but are perfect for the Tikka. Reasonable light, strong, and mount directly to the rail. Someone should set up a deal for easy distribution here in the US. They'd sell a ton once people got on to them.

Are the ones that attach to the dove tail more or less secure?

Talley’s for me. I bought Talley’s and Warne’s at the same time. I preferred the way the Talley’s attached.

The SportsMatch rings that I put on a 6.5 Creedmoor have done well. For a hunting rig, I like them.

Is the textured area inside the SportsMatch rings tape or an insert?

I just purchased a pair of the Opti-lock rings & bases for a Super Lite, but may send them back after looking at the SportsMatch.

I just looked at the Sportsmatch rings and gave thanks that I purchased optilock rings. 147 dollars ? GTFO . I know those mean optilock rings and bases may weigh 3 ounces or so more then anything else. grin

Spent no where near 147 bucks.
