Playing with my tikka this weekend, I couldn't get better than a 1.25" with RL17 and the 150 ELDX. Still have not seen any big game around. Probably order some and pay hazmat.
42gr of varget with 140 NAB were under 1/2", no need to play with this one any more. I'll chrono that one soon.
45gr of H4350 with 120's in my wife's youth axis rifle was about 5/8"", looking for ~2700 and a soft load for her. Need to chrono that one too, but it looks like winner.
So far I'm impressed with this round. I need to get out and chrono the loads, then stretch it out a bit.

Thank you Ishoot for asking the question I’m after. My grandfather does our reloading for now. I buy what I want to use and he slaps it together. But he’s not real big on experimenting. I have a Kimber Montana 7mm-08. Using Lapua brass. CCI large rifle 200 and Big Game. Assuming we just stick with 2.800. Where would be a good place to start the load. Pharm I’ve been following your threads on this load which got me to buy all this stuff lol.
