It's all about the show.

The world's superpower needs to let people know once in awhile, in a land far away, so that it doesn't end up here.

Yeah, peace was breaking out in Syria, so something had to be done.

Really?

Violating an arms agreement with the United States will no longer go unnoticed and unpunished.

No more, "I told Putin to cut-it-out"
No more meaningless Red Lines in the sand.
No more worthless arms agreements with those that have no intention of honoring.

Yes indeed, Excellent Job Mr President.

We are back and we brought our old friends/allies along.

Protect us Mr President. Protect us from those that wish to do us harm. Whether that be the sale of Nuclear arms and technology to American hating regimes or selling Chemical Weapons to the same bunch of madmen.

I'll bet we shoot down half.

No way--no way in hell!

I'm telling you, we can do it.

Ok, playmate of the year and a bottle of your best, sez you can't.

You're on. We gotta move some ships around.

No problem, take your time...

Mine is currently over there. On the Syrian border. I'm not happy to hear this.

This had nothing to do with any kind of land action or nation building. Simply a Foreign Policy statement. The West does not and will not tolerate the use of chem/bio or nukes. It's that simple.

Wouldn't it be easier to negotiate with the terrorists?

Especially when Syria entered into an agreement with Obama to remove and destroy the CW .

The Islamic radicals in Syria have it all figured out.

Anytime they need the west to launch a missile strike in support of them, they just spray some chemicals around.

Or maybe not even that. Maybe all they have to do is spray down some kids with cold water and make them cry,...record it and give it to the media.

I don't want to send anyone's kid to that chithole. Everything in the middle east is not worth one drop of American blood in my opinion.

What's patriotic about fighting alongside Islamic radicals against a secular government in the Middle East?

10% of Syria is Christian. Assad leaves them alone. If his government is overthrown the country will fall into the hands of Islamic radicals.

They won't leave the Christians alone.

Exactly. Syrian Christians are huge supporters of Assad, because he protects them from radical Islamics. If the Deep State, Swamp, Globalists (those in charge of our foreign policy) get their way, those Christians will be rounded up, put in steel cages, dowsed with gasoline, and lighted on fire for posting on the internet.
