The big ones out of the St Lawrence river are great eating.

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. --Winston Churchill

I fish the New River in Virginia. Always had musky but there are getting to be a bunch of them. Must be putting a hurting on the Smallies and red eyes. Don't catch near as many as I use to. Fish of a 1000 casts is now more like fish of 200 casts.

Nope. Not hurting any of the gamefish. Some of the best trophy smallie and walleye lakes in the world have had muskies for EONS. THEY MUCH Prefer soft rayed fish. Hundreds of studies have been conducted. Muskies are never found the be the reason gamefish populations are shrinking.
PS. I’ve fished new river. It’s still loaded with smallies and muskies are still hard to catch lol
