43 gr Reloder 17 in Hornady brass with CCI 200's in a friends Ruger Precision is shooting really, really small groups with low es and sd. Think I'd find some Lapua or Alpha and work up.
Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

Your pressure signs are validated by Hornady's max loads.

CCI 200, Hornady Case,Hornady 147 GR ELD M, 46 GR RL 26, 2686 FPS, 4 @ 1.2" 3 @ .565 " reshoot flyer or pulled
Best so far no pressure signs.
Loaded more at diff seat depths.
Loaded RL 26 higher but accuracy fell off.
Thinking Ram Shot hunter would be a good fit.
Any one with Quick Load willing to run loads with RS Hunter and RL 26 with 147 GR ELD M ? Thanks

Shooting a Ruger FTW Hunter in 6.5 CM 24" barrel.
Hornady 147 ELD-M..........COAL... 2.85 Starline Palma brass..........................................(I can't praise this new Starline 6.5 CM Palma brass enough! Great stuff!!) Rem Small Bench Rest Primer RL-23 45.0 grains
This load is shooting .3s and .4's consistently, everyday. Some groups are one ragged hole.
ES and SD are great.
Velocities with graph set at 10' distance.
2,737 2,726 2,732
I tried KK Alaska's load with RL 26. Speeds were in the 2,680's and consistent.
Accuracy was good, but not as good as RL-23.

IF true, or even close, that is a lot of speed for the 147.0 with 26, but I also like the psi with 23.

I just ran mine through the chronograph 143 grain ELD-X, 47 grains of RL 26, CCI 200 primer hornady brass, Remington 700 long action, 27 inch Brux barrel. Velocity was 2930 FPS 10 feet from chronograph, 50 yard groups were very promising.

Creedmoor RL26 update, I went out and shot a few today, it's a one ragged hole shooter. I think I'm hooked.

Fotis, Thank you, that's very helpful. I am trying to find a starting point for my 6.5CM and the new ELD-M 147GN. bullets. I was going to splash out on Quickload but I found that it won't run on my Mac or my Win XP systems. Could I impose upon you to run a QL for a 24 inch (M24 profile) barrel, H4350 powder (with S&B sr primers) Lapua Brass (capacity 46.3 H2O?) and ELD-M 147gn. bullet? I would like to start loading around a barrel time and pressure without burning (pun intended) through my powder to find a velocity node or OCW.

I never thought I'd grow up to be a grumpy old man, but I did, and I'm killin' it.

I like 46 grains of re 26 in mine. It clocks 2745 and is sub 1/2 minute accuracy.
You did not "seen" anything, you "saw" it. A "creek" has water in it, a "crick" is what you get in your neck. Liberals with guns are nothing but hypocrites.

Lapua brass, cci BR4 primer, 45.6 RL26, 147 eldm. 2,900fps in a 28” barrel. No signs of pressure, very consistent and accurate in my rifle.
