Remington 700 Mountain Rifle - 270 Winchester

*This is an early mountain rifle with the hinged floor plate...December 1985 manufacture date based on barrel code.

-Fluted Bolt
-Talley LW mounts 1"/Low (Scope Not Included)
-22" thin contour barrel
-Remington Factory LOP: 13 3/8"


-a couple small marks on barrel, bolt knob and stock from use but overall very nice condition! (SEE PICTURES)

Can't go wrong with a 700 Mountain rifle. I hated heavy model 700s until I laid my hands on one of these. Now I have 3.

I've only sighted-in the rifle with the current scope. As I recall, factory Nosler 130gr. Etip ammo shot about 1-1/4" at 100yds. Haven't had a chance to try anything else.

Regarding the Zeiss, I wasn't going to sell it BUT... I would sell it with the rifle and ship the combo in a hard case for $900 to your FFL.

I have a 280 with original box. It’s a sweet little rifle. It has the smooth bolt handle just like this. It’s an 88 model I believe. Looks new.
