Kind of changing the subject, but let's say I go with the NF NXS 2.5-10x42mm; scope weight is approximately 20.5 ounces. Will the Talley light-weight rings/bases handle this scope on a light 7mm-08 rifle or should I be looking at another mounting system?

I have 22oz scopes on two 5 1/2lb rifles and Talleys work fine for them.
