Looking for a Rem 700, 223 Varmint contour take-off barrel, 24-26". Blued. matte blue, S/S, makes no real difference really, although S/S would be preferred.

Thanks. Looking to breathe a little new life into an existing 223 Rem with a barrel that has seen better days. Opening the BF up on the existing 223 bolt to handle the 22-250 BF isn't in my plan.

Have an older Blue Rem. 223 barrel off a 1970's Varmint Special. Has the two factory Unertl/Lyman scope base holes. Nice bore, Cut to 23+" and fresh crown. Standard .223 cal and so marked. A few scratches on exterior but still very nice barrel with original blueing. Threads and chamber perfect. Email me for pics if interested. $100 shipped and I'll throw in the factory lug that came with it.

I have a new SS take off, but not varmint contour.
