My cc got hit for a general deer tag, but nothing else. Anyone get lucky and burn their points this year?

big negative all the way.18 PP for premium deer and elk...16 PP for sheep, goat, moose... Did manage a tag in NM for 1st rifle unit 51.

How do you have deer and elk points like that. You have to do one or the other

Sounds like yall are getting close. There are lots of elk units with bonus permits where you'll pull one with 18-19 points, but you're probably holding out for one of the popular units. Deer tags are another story. Hope you get your tags soon.

Correct...and then it's a race to live long enough to use them. I will have 16 next year. I am looking into a camouflage walker.

How do you have deer and elk points like that. You have to do one or the other Non-residents can apply and build points for everything. Yep I saw that. I never knew that and looked it up after seeing someone post that here. Must suck if you have. A bunch of points for both and decide to move here. Deer is tuff they give out 2.5 times more le elk than deer, add to that there is only 2 deer units that I think are even worth drawing, unless your happy with a 24 inch 4 point after putting in for over 10 years.
