I have a 10/22 like I've never seen before. Marked 50th anniversary but has hardwood Monte Carlos stock, 20" blued barrel that hasn't been tapped for sights. Stock has Ruger butt plate, and receiver marked 50 years 1964-2014. Every thing I've seen says it should have stainless barrel, with compensator and peep sights with a black composite stock. Any one know why the big difference?

I don't know, but we have a 50th model that has a green/brown lami stock, blued bbl with standard irons.

IIRC, all 2014 receivers were marked 50th year Anniv.
My ol lady has a blued grey lam standard with such marking.

I have a SS T/D that came with Kryptek camo stock, with the 50th Anniv. etched bolt. Funny thing is, I purchased it new from big box store last year.
