Well, now that you mention it it is not hard to believe. I mean, Andy was tall and good looking, a masculine guy, plus he was the star of the show. And those pretty gals, they portrayed small town Southern girls on the show, but, in fact, they were Hollywood actresses, and Hollywood actresses are known to like to party.
I mean, who are they going to bang backstage, tv Star Andy, or Don Knotts? Or, maybe Jim Nabors?
No, Andy had all that ass to himself, one of the perks of being a star I guess.
I have been looking at that gun rack for years. All I know is it changes, sometimes you see 94's, sometimes mostly shotguns, a few bolts, and at times something full stock with a ramrod. I always hated to see that double barrel dropped off the roof.
As for Gomer getting any, if he did it wouldn't be to my taste. Of all them, they should have kept Ellie, I fell for her on Father Knows Best. (like it does any of any good to fall for a TV star)
The young Barbara Eden sure turned heads in her episode.
Yep, one of my favorite, just so I can gaze at a young Barbara Eden. Andy was right when he said that Mother Nature worked overtime when she put her together, or something more folksy than that. Can't recall the precise words.
