Hard to go wrong with a 390.

I bought a NOS browning bps for trap shooting several years ago.
shoot 16-20 boxes a year with it since.
took 3-4 years of trap league to loosen up.
that translates to about 4000 rounds ,if I bought it ten years ago.
don't think I will get to 100,000 rounds very soon, but would like to try. laugh
with my recent back issues, no way.

Looking forward to shooting my "first" round of clays. Will probably be an eye opener.

If you are close to Holly Springs, NC try “Kids Place”. You should have a fun time if Tom is there. Tell him Harry from Pa says hello.

Looks like a 1.5 hour trip. It would be worth it.

Beretta 390 Sporting or 391 Sporting is a lot of gun for the money.
With the shim system to adjust stock drop and barrels with different rib height, finding something that fits is not hard.
Chrome lined chambers and barrels are another plus.

Dewitts is a nice place, you'll enjoy it. That M2 will suffice as an occasional clays gun but will beat you up pretty good after an extended session.

I haven’t looked in a while, but cheaperthandirt.com had Winchester SX4s for just over $600, if you have a little wiggle room that would be my pick
