This rifle and the walnut deserve good photos, and I don't have them yet. But photos are coming. Lets see if there's any interest first.

Cooper 54 Classic
6mm Creed

Upgrades include:

French Walnut
Checkered bolt knob
Stainless Barrel
Custom Caliber - 6mm Creed 1:8 twist

Please PM if interested, and we can discuss the rifle.

Nice wood rifles have a pretty slim area of interest right now, so I won't be shocked to see this fall away.

Here are some photos. If you're genuinely interested, shoot me a PM and we can exchange e-mails to further discuss.

What he said about price.

If you're not willing to state price, lookers tend to move on. Also, if you're not willing to state price, you may be asking more than the market will bear.

Just an opinion, FWIW.

Thanks badger. I appreciate that.

If someone likes it, interested in buying, they can shoot me a PM and we can handle price discussion off the classifieds. Guns just aren't selling right now - especially nice wood guns. So me posting the price and bumping with a $50 decrease every 72 hours isn't going to do me, or a potential buyer any good. Hope that doesn't rub anyone the wrong way. Just my preference for how to handle this one.

If people want ballpark information, this gun ran $3,295 from Cooper before the re-barrel. Offers are welcome, thats why its here in the classifieds.

Classy never goes out of style. That gun is beautiful. Only thing holding me back is about $3K. lol

I reckon it's "classified " information. There will be a leak sooner or later.

Nothing classified. Nothing secret. Like I mentioned a few posts ago, this rifle came from Cooper at $3,295. It just returned with a brand new barrel. I'm well aware that I won't get that price, and that I'll take a good hit in order to sell. Thats part of the game. My loss, and someone else's gain.

Knowing the buy price gives lookers an idea of what the rifle cost brand new, and I'm open to offers- any and all price offers. Thats why I put it here on classifieds.

Rather than toss up a number and bump the thread with price drops for the next 2 weeks (something I'm personally not a fan of) - shoot me a PM and we can work out a price that fits for me and the buyer.

I'm interested in the price. Whats the story on the barrel/caliber change? Do you have the original barrel and what caliber is it?

Ash - the rifle started its life as a 243 Ackley Improved. It came twisted 1:12, and I never warmed up to the twist. It was a shooter with the 80 TTSX and 87 V-Max. But the 1:12 didn't do any favors for anything heavier.

I had the gun re-barreled to 6mm Creed based on all the great factory ammo. I see Prime is coming out with 6mm Creed now, to go along with Hornady's offerings. Of course sky is the limit for reloaders.

Shoot me a PM and we can discuss price. Like I mentioned - there's no secret or magic here, just a preference to talk price in PMs. I'm not listing this for the tag price. But its not leaving my hands for $2000 either. I'm sure there's a place in the middle that works for me and a buyer.
