My opinion, she’ll be back page news in 6 years. At least for now, the DNC sees her as the new face of the Democratic party. That is according to Thomas Perez, chairman of the DNC.

Yep. In high school she took second place in the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), coming from the New York Metropolitan Area yet, about the most competitive region there is. ISEF is like the World Cup for high school nerds. Whatever your complexion ya don’t get there by being lazy, or stupid. Those projects include grad-school level research and can take hundreds of hours to complete. Her project was in microbiology, most likely she would have been considering Medical School at the time. Misguided? Certainly, but my money says that woman is neither lazy nor stupid. She’s on a mission. Already she’s campaigning for other Progressive around the country and she ain’t even in office yet. Look for her to outwardly move to the middle, she’s already speaking that language. Having the benefit of attending universities for over 6 years and then being in the employ of universities for 4 more years and continue to work with universities in different capacities since then, I can definitely attest to the fact that being smart has nothing to do with being bright. This woman may be smart, but for you to claim she is bright while she espouses socialistic crap which has proven time and again to fail really makes me question your smarts. Or should I say, question just how bright you are.

What? Most of the under 25’s you’ve met didn’t think Obama walked on water? In my experience it’s at least 2/1, more like 3/1. If that is true (for you), you might want to think about finding a much better class of young people for your interactions - and a smarter bunch as well. Prob'ly someone who has actually worked in China will chime in. I've had one in my house as an exchange student for a year, brung him and his buddies out to New Mexico, interacted frequently with Chinese Academics at Universities here, taught Chinese kids (Taiwanese), been around Chinese kids at international competitions, see Mainland Chinese all the time at the Alamo (some of 'em mere hours in-country, never been out of China before, speak absolutely flawless English). "Brainwashed" means just that, don't mean you ain't bright. Most of our Founding Fathers thought chattel slavery was acceptable, don't mean they weren't bright.

I know, and expected to get called on it, but most of his supporters were the same generation as Ocasio-Cortez.
