The body of John Hearring, known as Nicholas, was discovered with head trauma in his upstairs apartment in the 1000 block of North Leamington Avenue. Multiple family members confirmed that he had 43 children. Hearring was a long-time resident there and well-known in the neighborhood. "He was the nicest man you'd ever want to meet," said Gwen Bridgeforth, his daughter-in-law. "I don't get it. All this killing is so senseless and now they are targeting the elderly." Police were investigating and had made no arrests Sunday.

Yes. With 43 around it's easy to piss someone off. Must have been quite the famous performer to bring off 43. The pic above does suggest he was a bit tired. Probably not a fight over the inheritance though.

I'll bet a fine gentlemen like that supported every one of those 43 chillins and the taxpayers didn't have to kick in a single dime.
