Stir-fried shrimp with green onion, celery, garlic, butter, and mushrooms.

Leftovers. Everyone gone.

Heated can of Rosarita retried beans, mixed with left over carnitas spooned into small flour tortillas. Topped with cheese and Tapatio.

Side of ice cold Sam Adams.

Mango popcicle for dessert.

Tacos do not sound like much improvement. McCormick taco spice, and me do not get along.

miss Mexican food the most while traveling. My taco's are made with Iowa venison, shredded cheese, flour tortillas, garden tomatoes, chopped sweet onion, and homemade salsa. No package seasoning

Had some left over rockfish. Made some pan fried fish cakes and a salad.

Lumpias be good stuff.

I may have to look for a Filipino place next time I'm in a city of any size.

Breakfast Saturday, didn't download the pics until tonight. Chocolate waffles with homemade mixed berry freezer jam.

PS, the bonus was getting Breeze the wonder whippet surveying his kingdom in the pic grin

Geno, it's pretty simple.

Scramble eggs in a pan (I used 3). Add a table spoon or so of butter. when melted, add a table spoon of flour. Cook the flour for a few minutes. Add milk, and you have Egg Gravy. Season liberally with fresh ground black pepper.

Sometimes I add a little onion and garlic powder.

Put over biscuits etc. I used toast because I did not want to heat the house up making biscuits in the oven.

Thanks Owl,

I may try that, something new I never heard of .

Geno

PS dang, that dog of mine looks more handsome every time I see him wink

Tonight's dinner was leftover pad kee mow from my lunch at a Thai place in the big city. And then a slice of homemade Black Forest pumpernickel bread.

Nothing special, filling enough though.

I am 1.5 hours into my 1 hour spatch cock cook.

Either my COCK is too big or my fire is too small.

I dearly loved my fermented beverages.

PS, Oh, tonight was some leftover noodles with olive oil and Romano cheese, some cherries, and a slice of our pumpernickel bread. Nothing fancy.

Taco seasoning is to be made up, not purchased.

That is what's causing your problems

Last night I had the kids over for dinner. Antelope back strap, cut in to medallions, quick fried and served in gravy. Fresh Florida scallops, sauteed with butter, EVOO, lemon juice and white wine. Green salad with avocados and tomatoes. Baked Sweet Potatoes, and steamed fresh broccoli.

Sam......
