That's a pretty fish! Everything I've been catching lately (ocean fish) have huge teeth and spines and in some cases (cabezon) are downright fugly. I forget how pretty trout are.

Yesterday was burpees, lunges and stair case climbs with my sandbag. Legs are sore today. I'll need to really stretch and warm up before this afternoons workout. I intend to put in some serious sweat time.

Yesterday's workout was rough, but I forced myself to complete what I set out to accomplish. I'll spare the details as they're much of the same exercises, just done faster and a few more of them.

For warming up I've been simply laying down on the floor and then standing back up. I find that 15 minutes of that really engages, warms and helps stretch most of my muscles. I mix in a few yoga'ish type moves to further stretch certain muscle groups.

I think a kettle bell work out is in order today. That or sandbag. Maybe some of both?

Excellent 4.5 miles on trails at 94 degrees.
Unlike Tiny E, I much prefer 94 to 15:)

Today is probably going to be a power day. Tire flips, one arm snatches, cleans, push press, and box jumps in a continuous circuit.

Saturday: 1/2 mile swim, 13 mile mountain bike, 3.7 mile swim. 10 minutes faster than last year, so I'll take it.

Sunday: Easy 13.9 miles on the road bike with 900 feet of vertical.

Stairmaster: 20minutes

PNWild day one repeat
Added BP, 5x1minute planks and Deadlifts
(Burpees still are not fun, but I no longer feel like a broken stickman doing them.)

I did one of the workouts the trainer gave me today. Circuits with three groups of three exercises, four sets each, focused on quads for lower body and pulling/back muscles for upper body, with abs thrown in the mix. Kettle bell squats, glute extensions and dumbbell rows in the first group, quad extensions (machine), pull-ups, and pilates sit-ups in the second group, step-ups, "2-inch raise" lunges and single leg RDLs in the last. Pretty good workout.

Ankle is feeling better all the time.

Did my burpees with lunges then kettle bell swings and snatches. Sweaty and my legs are wobbly.

I think it feels better because of the three or four young women who insist on giving me foot massages every time out, you should try it.
