So I’m on a diet trying to shape up and shed some unneeded pounds. I have never really ate tuna before but I’m finding ways to make it enjoyable and i can eat lots of it. If anyone is interested try this. It’s good. 2 of the bigger cans of tuna. Chunck white in water. Drained dry as possible 3 spoons of ranch dressing 2 big spoons of pickle relish. I prefer dill 1 big spoon of diced jalapeño Handful of real bacon pieces. More the better Black pepper and half a pouch of ranch powder mix Stir. Chill. Eat. Very good!
Another quick good protein food Regular size muffin pan. Crack and egg in each hole. Spray first with Pam spray. Add diced up breakfast sausage and bacon pieces. Few shreds of cheddar. Bake at 350. Mine takes 17 minutes. Check with toothpick to make sure it’s done. Salt and pepper to taste before or after. Freaking awesome and i make a dozen or so at a time for a few days. Lose about 6 pounds in 3 days if you stick with it and no sugar.

Once you've had some decent properly prepared ahi tuna, it's tough to eat cat food.

The egg dish sounds good; I'll try it. Ranch Dressing??? Just wrong. Nothing touches my Costco albacore tuna but Miracle Whip.

Good protein source. Quality Whey protein powder. Go to vitacost.com, look for MRM whey powder ( I like MRM. Flax-n-whey. Vanilla flavored). 17 grams of protein per scoop, about 100 calories. Use water, skim milk, 1% milk, or unsweetened almond milk ( vanilla or plain). Add some plain Greek yogurt for even more protein (10-14 additional grams of protein) + fruit ( frozen , ie blueberries) for a great smoothie. Low carb, high protein snack MRM flax-n-whey protein powderMRM is highly rated whey protein. Sweetener is stevia, not fructose. See this review of protein powders. Protein powder reviewDaily Protein goal : 1 gram of protein per kilogram of your body weight. So, if you weigh 100 kg (220 lbs), you should target ingesting 100 grams of protein daily. Truth disclosure: my nephew, Bryan DiSanto, is the creator, owner and editor of www.leanitup.com. ( lean it up). His website reported to results of the evaluation and ranking of 150 protein powders.
