One of the best aspects of this website is seeing the youth involved in our hunting heritage.

Congrats to the lass.

That's a great symmetrical buck and you framed the picture very nicely, Congrats to you both!

Thanks to everyone for all the kind comments... She goes in next month to have her other foot done... I have a sneaking suspicion she will still hunt this year even if she’s still in a boot...

Keep her at it, even if it's just a ride out to look at things. Best of luck lady.

J, give her your heavy 6 Creed with 105 hybrids and she’ll be in range of a lot of deer... grin

Looking forward to seeing more pics! (Try post image, it’s easier than photobucket)

Cinch;
Thanks for sharing the hunt photos with us, they're grand as is the buck.

Please pass along congratulations to your daughter on the very nice mulie. As well please send our best for a speedy recovery to the surgery.

As a fellow father, I'd have to say that watching our girls hurt was way, way tougher than anything that ever happened to me personally.

I'll end with a tip of the hat to you for making the effort to ensure the hunt took place. Well done sir.

Thanks again and all the best to you and your family this summer.

Dwayne

Ha funny you say that she's already claimed that rifle as her own... matter of fact I have the parts gathered up to get one built for her... just need to get them sent off... I need to start being a little more discreet with my stuff or they're gonna lay claim to it all lol...

Congrats to your daughter, Cinch. That is a heck of a buck for a young girl. I always like to see girls out hunting. I was just looking at a picture of my daughter when I took her on her first and only hunt for rabbits in WY. Unfortunately, we didn't find any for her, but she had a good time. Since then, she has decided that hunting isn't her thing. She has nothing against it, she just doesn't want to do it. At least one of my boys has the interest. Jury is still out on the youngest boy. I hope to get him a deer this year to stoke the fire a bit. Sorry to hear about your daughter's feet. I sure hope they heal for her so she can hunt this year. Best of luck to her and to you!
