Trouble is, they're breeding faster than they're killing each other.

In 2012 I worked in S. Chicago and had to get up on roofs to do part of my job. Just about every roof had bullets in the shingles or bullet holes. Yeah, the roofs were so bad that some of the bullets would wind up in the attic. Those people up there are something else. Kinda reminds you of visiting a zoo.

Is it White people doing the shooting? I haven't heard the media say. Surely it wouldn't be Negroes, because they are such good hardworking folks At least that's what the television shows and ads would have us believe.

.........I never thought of that!....... Sometimes I wonder if the Guiness Book of World Records has a category for the most shootings in a weekend. Maybe they're trying to set a new record.

Yep, came here to post this. Hey, I'm certain they are only shooting each other, and where is the downside to that?
(Spoiler: There is NO downside to them popping each other, none at all!)

Frankly, I would NOT care at all if every street criminal shot/killed each other BUT all too often innocent bystanders get shot/killed. = Saturday evening a 17YO female honor student, who was headed to college in less than one month, was killed (by being unlucky enough to be just walking to the corner store) when a drive-by shooting happened.
(According to "news reports", NONE of the 5 thugs were even wounded & all of the criminals fled the scene & "remain at large".)

I would suppose that every career lawman has ONE case that still bothers them, even after they have been retired for a long time (12 years in my case) & maybe the rest of his/her Earthly life because what happened was:
1. Because you did something stupid,
2. You arrived too late,.
3. You couldn't fix the problem,
4. You wonder if you could have done something to make things less awful
and/or
5. More than one of the above.

In my case it was in 1989 & in downtown Baltimore. A little 6YO boy named Robert Louis Stephenson B________ was visiting his grandmother from Atlanta, GA that week.
He asked his grandmother if he could have a dollar for an ice cream bar & walk out to the street in front of her house to buy it from the ice cream truck.

"Bobby" was eating his ice cream when two cars passed each other & started shooting at the other car. = Two .32ACP bullets hit "Bobby". One in the upper right chest & the other in the lower left side. His grandmother immediately called 911.
Because we were nearby, we also responded to the radio emergency call & arrived about 2 minutes after the first BPD unit.
We saw him die in his grandmother's arms about a minute before the paramedics arrived.

As far as I know, the criminal shooters never knew that they killed a child & probably wouldn't have cared, if they knew. - The criminals also (as far as I know) were never identified or apprehended. = This was just another "crime statistic" in Charm City, as far as 99% of people thought of the shooting & some were even sad, for at least 5 minutes.
I cannot tell you why this one death still haunts me so after nearly 2 decades but it does.
