Check out Uship.com and get some no-obligation quotes. I've used them a couple of times in the past to transport motorcycles. There are people that travel all over the country transporting all sorts of stuff.

I shipped a 27' boat without a trailer for 1/3 the local trucking service bid with U-Ship. Cali to Seattle.
